The goal of OSS as a guild is to be a premiere guild of players in the Online Gaming community.

Our Objectives:

1. We are here for the fun and enjoyment of every member. No drama, not overly serious, Keep it real.

2. Respect all players, guild member or not.

3. We all represent the guild wherever we go. Moreover, we represent every member. Represent the way you would want to be represented.

4. Remember, you were new once too. Mistakes happen, especially among new players. Help new players learn the ropes, not only of the game, but also of the community.

5. Recognize that by helping those with less experience to advance you will be benefiting not only that individual, but also the guild as a whole. Invite new members to accompany you on quests or hunts or whatever. I promise they will appreciate it.

6. Topics such as Politics, Race, Religion, and Sexual Orientation are not to be discussed in the game. Prejudiced or racist remarks and harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated, whether it is with guilded or non-guilded players. These actions are grounds for removal from the guild. Light jokes and humor are fine but please remember not to take it to far.

7. Disputes between guild members will be handled in a private matter. Keep it out of guild chat. If there is something that you feel needs moderating, please seek out guild leadership. We are here to help.

8. Last but not least, remember that real life comes first. Sometimes things happen outside of your virtual world that require your attention. If an extended absence is needed, do not feel guilty or worry about your standing with the guild. We will be here and will keep your seat warm.

OSS is a family friendly community. All of our guidelines revolve around one centralized theme: furthering the enjoyment of the games we like to play together. Laying this path in front of us, we can help each other achieve this goal.
